Like most knife livers, I’ve had a lifelong fascination with cutlery of
all types. In 1989, I took this fascination another step when I spent the
winter working with ABS Mastersmith
Keith Kilby. This simple act was intended to pass some long winter nights.
What started out as a pastime quickly became a passion, working with only
a limited amount of time to devote to the craft, I have yet to lose that
passion.
All
of my knives are hand forged with hammer and anvil. All are one of a kind.
Although some may closely resemble another, they all have a subtle difference.
The difference is what makes each knife a unique piece. A unique piece
that required part of my life and sometimes part of my hide to create.
I have held the American Bladesmith Society Journeyman Smith Ranking since
1993 and intend to pursue the perfect blade as long as I’m able.
